You KNOW what day it is!! Aloha Friday means the start of my weekend (and yours too!!) so I always look forward to it!! Don't forget to visit An Island Life for more on Aloha Friday and more participants!!!
My Question this week is:
Do you do any Volunteer work and, if so, where?
(my answer is: Yes, but not as much as I would like to or used to! I am on the Recreation committee in our large neighborhood area, and we help support many functions for kids and adults alike. But I want to get more involved in other things again too ~ so many opportunities out there for all of us to HELP one another!)

When my boys were younger, I did. I was active in the PTA, our church and local politics but since becoming disabled, I can't. Have fond memories of those days.

Not right now... I did before my children and I am sure we will become more active when the kids are a bit older.

I volunteered when I was younger at the hospital. But I really don't have time to volunterr as I am a mom of 6 and I homeschool so no time.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I am now your newest follower. :) Have a great weekend!

The only volunteer work that I have done lately is at my sons' school. I would love to explore other volunteer alternatives once my children are older and I have more time to give.

Not normally. I did volunteer and take photos for a high school graduation a few months ago.

I don't do any currently. I would really like to start volunteering at one of the local animal shelters.

I don't very much anymore. No time in my schedule between kids and school. I was once a volunteer firefighter/EMT. I also used to volunteer with Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness and PanCAN (pancreatic cancer awareness network).

I volunteer with my church.

I used to volunteer a lot, but lately, not so much. You are so right...we really should (if we can) get out there and volunteer our time and/or services and help one another! : )

Yes...we have volunteered at Florida and Georgia State Parks as Campground Hosts. We are fulltimers, living the retired life in our 2006 Coachmen Chaparral. In return for our volunteering, we receive a free spot in the campground for 2 to 4 months at a time. This could mean a 'million dollar view' for a few hours of volunteer work. We travel around and find a place we would like to stay for awhile then contact the park to find openings. We have taken two paid positions but much prefer the volunteer ones. What a life!

I've thought about volunteering, but am not doing at the moment, as I can't guarantee shifts thanks to the shifts I have at work.

I do some volunteer work. I volunteer in the schools, I am a girl scout leader, I volunteer for the library. Actually, reading this, I guess I do quite a bit.

I volunteer at my kids' schools. Other than that I just don't have the time. I wish I did, I would like to do more.
