My question for this week:

What are 1 or 2 things that you are really trying hard to do on a regular basis to help "Save the Environment and to Go Green"?
(My answer is: I am a very faithful recycler. I try to only use paper bags at the store, or better yet to take my own bag with me - love the ones from Trader Joe's ! Try to use cloths when cleaning and not so much paper towel! Use products to clean that are environmentally friendly!)

Yep ~ It's Aloha Friday time gang!!

Wow ~ I don't know where the week went??!! One gorgeous day on Wed. with temps close to 80* so I did get out there on the golf course! (Even us girlies that work at home have to take breaks now and then!) Ahhh. . . . The start of my weekend ~ I always look forward to it!! When was the last time you cried and why? (Remember, this can be happy, sad, crazy. . .whatever!!)

Since I knew what my questions was going to be all week, I sorta had my answer planned (which was crying from laughing so hard from a video someone sent me on a budweiser commercial)But, things change. But things change and my new answer is ~ Yesterday I found out a good friend of mine has breast cancer again, so the tears came freely! (Please keep her in your prayers! I am a cancer survivor also, so I know how scary this is for her!)

Did you know? ~ MARCH is Women's History Month!

Did you know that March is Women's History Month?? I didn't! (Thanks to Marybeth over at Blogmania, I have been able to find tons of fun facts and information on this subject!) From WomensHistoryMonth.gov ~ "The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in paying tribute to the generations of women whose commitment to nature and the planet have proved invaluable to society."

A Resolution was passed in 1987 to expand the celebration of Women's History to the entire month of March & has been approved every year since then! This year's theme honors women who have taken the lead in the environmental or “green” movement. Here's to all the amazing women we know!!

COOL Ideas for a COOL February

In the past few weeks, several friends and customers have gotten these adorable Totes made by Bungalow Scout!
